Terms of service
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Welcome to Destiny’s Workshop.
These Terms of Service explain the rules that apply when you use our website, place an order, or purchase from us.
We have tried to keep them clear, sensible and reasonably painless to read. There are no hidden quests, secret clauses or saving throws required.
Please read them before placing an order.
1. Who We Are
Destiny’s Workshop is a trading name of:
Odyssey Gaming Ltd
Company Number: 16048552
Registered in England and Wales
Throughout these terms:
- “Destiny’s Workshop”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Odyssey Gaming Ltd trading as Destiny’s Workshop.
- “You” and “your” mean the customer or person using our website.
2. These Terms
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Our Returns & Exchanges Policy, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and any other terms presented to you during checkout may also form part of the agreement between us.
Nothing in these terms removes or restricts any statutory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Where the law provides you with a right that cannot legally be excluded, that right takes priority over anything written here.
Consumer law, as it turns out, has a considerably higher armour class than our Terms of Service.
3. Using Our Website
You may use our website to browse, purchase products and interact with Destiny’s Workshop for lawful purposes.
You must not:
- attempt to damage, disrupt or interfere with the website;
- introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful material;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
- use automated systems to place fraudulent or disruptive orders;
- deliberately misuse promotional offers or discount codes;
- copy or commercially reproduce substantial parts of our website without permission; or
- use our website for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
Browsing our entire dice collection for far longer than you originally intended is, however, completely permitted.
4. Our Products
We make every reasonable effort to describe and photograph our products accurately.
Some products may naturally vary slightly in:
- colour;
- pattern;
- transparency;
- inclusions;
- texture;
- finish; or
- overall appearance.
This is particularly relevant to resin, liquid-core, gemstone, glass and other decorative products.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on photography, lighting and the screen you are using.
Natural variation does not necessarily mean that a product is faulty.
Your dice are allowed to have a little individuality.
Products must nevertheless remain as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
5. Product Names and Themes
Many Destiny’s Workshop products have fantasy-inspired names, descriptions and themes.
References to classes, archetypes, adventurers, magic, fantasy concepts or tabletop roleplaying themes are generally descriptive and thematic.
Unless we expressly say otherwise, they do not indicate an official association with a particular game, franchise, publisher or intellectual property owner.
We can sell you very impressive dice.
We cannot guarantee that they will improve your rolls.
We have tested this extensively.
6. Prices
The price shown when you place your order will normally be the price you pay, subject to obvious errors.
Prices include VAT where legally required and where indicated.
Delivery charges and any other applicable costs will be displayed before you complete checkout.
International customers may see prices displayed in their local currency.
Currency conversion, taxes, regional pricing and other market-specific factors may mean that the price shown in another country is not an exact mathematical conversion of our UK price.
7. Pricing Errors
We take reasonable care when setting prices, but occasionally mistakes happen.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before an order has been accepted or dispatched, we may contact you and give you the option to:
- purchase the product at the correct price; or
- cancel the affected item or order.
If payment has already been taken and the order is cancelled, the appropriate amount will be refunded.
For avoidance of doubt, a £40 set of dice accidentally appearing for 40p is likely to attract some attention in the office.
8. Placing an Order
When you submit an order, you are offering to purchase the products shown in your basket.
Adding a product to your basket does not reserve it.
After placing an order, you will normally receive an email confirming that we have received it.
We may decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including where:
- the product is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious pricing or listing error;
- your payment cannot be authorised;
- we cannot deliver to the address supplied;
- we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse;
- completing the order would breach applicable law; or
- there has been another material error affecting the order.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund any amount due.
9. Checking Your Order
Please check your basket, delivery information and other order details carefully before completing checkout.
If you notice a mistake after ordering, contact us as quickly as possible.
If the order has not yet entered fulfilment, we may be able to change it.
Once an order has been packed or dispatched, changing addresses, products or quantities may no longer be possible.
Our packing team is efficient. Occasionally inconveniently so.
10. Payment
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered at checkout.
Your card issuer, bank or payment provider may carry out its own authorisation and security checks.
We are not responsible for delays caused by those checks.
Payments are processed through secure payment providers.
Please do not send payment card information to us by email or message.
There are significantly better ways to purchase dice.
11. Stock and Availability
All products are subject to availability.
Destiny’s Workshop sells through multiple channels and at physical events, so stock levels can occasionally change quickly.
We take reasonable steps to keep our inventory accurate.
If something becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you and offer an appropriate solution.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
- waiting for replacement stock;
- choosing an alternative product; or
- receiving a refund for the unavailable item.
We will not quietly replace your chosen set with something else because we think you might like it.
Excellent taste is subjective.
12. Delivery
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times will be shown during checkout.
Unless we expressly agree otherwise, delivery dates and times are estimates.
We will take reasonable steps to dispatch your order within the timeframe stated.
Deliveries may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including:
- carrier disruption;
- customs delays;
- severe weather;
- strikes;
- transport disruption; or
- other exceptional events.
If your order is significantly delayed, please contact us and we will investigate.
13. Delivery Addresses
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
Please check your address carefully before completing your order.
If an incorrect or incomplete address causes a parcel to be returned, redirected or lost, reasonable additional delivery charges may apply.
If you realise you have made a mistake, contact us immediately.
We will do our best to catch the parcel before it begins an unexpected adventure.
14. International Orders
We ship internationally to destinations supported by our website and delivery services.
International orders may be subject to:
- customs procedures;
- import duties;
- local taxes;
- carrier handling charges; or
- other government fees.
Where we collect applicable duties or taxes during checkout, this will be shown before you pay.
Where charges are not collected by us, you may be responsible for paying them directly to the appropriate authority or carrier.
Import rules vary between countries, and customers remain responsible for complying with applicable local restrictions.
15. Customs and International Delays
International parcels may occasionally be delayed while passing through customs.
Customs authorities operate independently from Destiny’s Workshop and we cannot control how quickly they process shipments.
We will provide reasonable assistance where possible.
We have considered adding “Persuasion +5” to our customs paperwork, but current regulations do not recognise it.
16. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Our Returns & Exchanges Policy explains our returns process in detail.
Customers purchasing online may have statutory cancellation rights, including rights provided by UK distance-selling legislation where applicable.
Different rules may apply to certain personalised or custom-made products.
Rights relating to faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed goods are separate from your right to change your mind.
Nothing in these terms or our Returns & Exchanges Policy limits your statutory rights.
17. Faulty Goods
Products supplied by us must meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.
For UK consumers, goods must generally be:
- of satisfactory quality;
- fit for purpose; and
- as described.
If a product does not meet those requirements, you may be entitled to remedies such as a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
We do not exclude or restrict those rights.
Please contact us if something is genuinely wrong. We would much rather fix the problem than make you embark upon an administrative side quest.
18. Purchases at Conventions and Events
Destiny’s Workshop regularly trades at conventions, gaming shows, comic cons and similar events.
Products purchased from us in person are not necessarily subject to the same change-of-mind cancellation rights as products purchased online.
However, your statutory rights concerning faulty, misdescribed or unsatisfactory products remain unaffected.
Where a purchase takes place outside the UK, mandatory consumer protections applicable in that country may also apply.
19. Mystery Products
We occasionally sell products where the particular design, colour or contents are intentionally a mystery.
By purchasing one of these products, you understand that the exact design may not be known before purchase.
Receiving a perfectly good mystery set in blue when you were privately hoping for purple does not make the item faulty.
That is the mystery element doing precisely what was advertised.
Your statutory rights, including rights relating to faulty products and any applicable online cancellation rights, remain unaffected.
20. Personalised and Custom Products
Where a product has been made specifically to your instructions or clearly personalised for you, the normal change-of-mind cancellation right for online purchases may not apply.
This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described.
21. Discounts and Promotions
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional terms.
Unless stated otherwise:
- promotions cannot be exchanged for cash;
- some offers may not be combined;
- promotions may apply only to selected products;
- offers may run for a limited period; and
- promotions may end when allocated stock has sold out.
We may correct or withdraw a promotion where there has been a genuine mistake, fraud or abuse.
We will not retrospectively remove a valid discount from an order simply because someone in the office later wonders whether we were feeling excessively generous.
22. Gift Cards
Where we offer gift cards, any specific conditions will be shown when the gift card is purchased or issued.
Gift cards cannot normally be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
Gift cards may only be used through the sales channels on which we state they are valid.
Please keep gift-card codes secure.
Treat them like gold pieces: useful, transferable and best not left unattended in a tavern.
23. Resale and Wholesale Purchases
Products sold through our standard consumer website are primarily intended for personal use unless otherwise agreed.
If you are interested in purchasing products for commercial resale, distribution or wholesale purposes, please contact us.
Separate commercial terms may apply to wholesale and business transactions.
24. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the original content of the Destiny’s Workshop website belongs to Odyssey Gaming Ltd or is used by us with appropriate permission.
This includes, where applicable:
- branding;
- logos;
- product photography;
- original graphics;
- written content;
- product descriptions; and
- other original creative material.
You may not reproduce or commercially exploit our original material without permission.
Sharing a link to your favourite dice set with your gaming group is absolutely fine.
Recreating the entire Destiny’s Workshop website and calling it Destiny’s Slightly Different Workshop is less so.
25. Reviews and Customer Content
If you submit a review, image, comment or other material directly to us, you must not knowingly provide content that is:
- unlawful;
- fraudulent;
- threatening;
- abusive;
- defamatory;
- misleading;
- infringing; or
- otherwise illegal.
We will not knowingly publish fake customer reviews or manipulate reviews in a way that misleads customers.
Where reviews are submitted through a third-party platform, that platform's terms may also apply.
26. Website Availability
We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly.
However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times.
We may occasionally need to carry out maintenance, security updates or other technical work.
If the Workshop temporarily disappears into another plane during maintenance, we will endeavour to return it promptly.
27. Our Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, nothing excludes liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- consumer rights that cannot legally be restricted.
Where liability can legally be limited, we are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of our breach of contract.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
If you purchase as a consumer, nothing in these terms reduces the legal protections available to you.
28. Business Purchases
If you purchase products wholly or mainly for business purposes, different legal rules may apply from those applying to consumers.
Unless separate terms are agreed in writing, products purchased through our standard retail website are supplied under these terms.
Large wholesale, reseller or commercial purchases may be subject to separate agreements.
29. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for a delay or failure caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control.
Examples can include:
- major transport disruption;
- natural disasters;
- government action;
- widespread telecommunications failures;
- significant carrier disruption; or
- other exceptional circumstances.
We will still take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and fulfil our obligations.
Dragon-related incidents will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
30. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time.
Updated terms will apply to future use of the website and orders placed after the new version has been published.
We will not retrospectively rewrite the terms of an existing order unless required by law or agreed with you.
31. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid
If a court or other competent authority decides that any part of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
One failed saving throw does not end the campaign.
32. No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce one of our rights under these terms, this does not necessarily mean that we have given up that right.
Equally, choosing to make an exception on one occasion does not automatically create an obligation to make the same exception in future.
33. Governing Law
For UK consumers, these terms are governed by applicable UK law.
Nothing in these terms removes any mandatory legal protection available to you.
For business-to-business transactions, unless otherwise agreed in writing, the laws of England and Wales will apply and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction.
34. Contacting Us
If you have a question about an order, a product or these terms, please contact Destiny’s Workshop using the contact details provided on our website.
Where your question relates to an existing order, including your order number will usually help us resolve things more quickly.
We would always prefer to solve a genuine problem through a straightforward conversation rather than turn it into an unnecessarily complicated quest.
35. Your Legal Rights
Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or replaces any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
For UK customers, relevant protections may include rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If a mandatory legal right provides greater protection than these terms, that legal right applies.
We may sell fantasy products.
Your consumer rights are very much real.
